Also, for the first time, more Americans live alone than with a partner and kids.

2005 - In the summer, the number of single adults surpassed the number of couples with children.
2006 - That same intersextion occured in Canada.
2020 - The earliest year this is expected to occur in Australia, if ever.

Gleebit: Women not having children is a fast growing population in the US and Canada.
In 1976, one woman in 10 was childless at age 45; In 2004, that grew to one woman in 5.
