In 2008, for the first time, more teenagers shunned CDs than bought CDs. In the past year, close to 50% of teens bought no music on disc at all. But other age groups continue to buy CDs, so discs will continue to outsell downloads for a few years.

2006 - 2 out of 3 teens were still buying spinning discs.
2012 - More songs will be sold online than on disc.
